My dad hade a none serious tuma in his neck not so long ago, when he had it removed several nerves to his ear had to be removed, he says he only hears tinnitus from "time to time" now rather than alot. I just thought i'd tell you incase you wanted to look into that. I'm sure being a little deaf in one ear is better than dealing with tinnitus.

I have the same problem except i got it from chewing 4 gumballs all at once and i think my jaw popped or something and it caused my tinnitus.
Mostly my right ear cause that is the the one i chewed it with just some thing to look into.
Also my tinnitus used to be super loud and it calmed down over the months but its still there when i go to sleep.
I'm just 15 and i would just cry myself to sleep cause this drowns the noise of the ringing.
*cough*SUICIDE*cough*

I found out how much it costs today to have treatment. . Its too expensive. Why are these devices not available on the NHS?

How much does it cost? How do you find that info?

Just thinking... Im from Denmark, and maybe people here could come together and buy one of these machines. And then it would be possible to loan it.. Maybe.. just an idea.

To all you tinnitus patients. On new years eve, a firecracker went off between my feet, and I've had tinnitus, and I can hear crackling when I am exposed to high pitch or loud noises.

It's only been five days, but, Am I stuck with it? Anyone?
